Mooserboden high mountain reservoirs

Both reservoirs in Kaprun came about during the post-war era and are regarded today still as wonders of technology. Up above 2000m altitude, plenty of electricity is still being produced. Packed to the brim with melt water, the two lakes, which look a lot like fjords, conceal their turbines behind impressive reservoir walls and they really get up to speed in the spring time.
