There are a few ways to get to your hotel in Kaprun. We recommend a vignette-free journey via the Munich-Salzburg motorway. Leave the motorway at the Piding - Bad Reichenhall exit and continue via Bad Reichenhall, Lofer, Saalfelden and Zell am See. You can bypass Zell am See by taking the Schmitten Tunnel, and immediately at the end of the tunnel, bear right and head for Mittersill. Around 4 kilometres later you come to a roundabout; please take the 3rd exit for Kaprun and stay on the state road (Landesstraße) for two kilometres.
coming from the south (Italy) to your Hotel in Kaprun
The best option is to take the motorway to Salzburg and exit at Bischofshofen, heading for Zell am See. Before you get to Zell am See, bear left heading for Kaprun. Around 4 km after this turn-off there is a roundabout on the A road (Bundesstraße) in Fürth. Please take the third exit and and stay on the state road (Landesstraße) heading for Kaprun, around 2 km.
coming from the east (CZ, SLK, PL, H etc.) to your Hotel in Kaprun
The best thing to do is take the A1 motorway from Vienna, heading to Salzburg and exit at Salzburg / Wals and continue via Bad Reichenhall, Lofer, Saalfelden and Zell am See. You can bypass Zell am See by taking the Schmitten Tunnel, and immediately at the end of the tunnel, bear right and head for Mittersill. coming from the west (CH,F, FL) to your Hotel in KaprunVia the Inntal motorway exit near Wörgl, heading for Felbertauer, then take the Wörgl - Kitzbühel – Mittersill - Zell am See route. Right after Piesendorf (on the route between Mittersill and Zell am See) there is a roundabout; please take the first exit, stay on the state road (Landesstraße) for two kilometres to get to Kaprun.

At the Shell petrol station (BMW dealer) leave the circle at the 3rd exit heading for the Kaprun village centre and follow the road across the third bridge to south direction view to the Kitzsteinhorn. Pass the Tourist Information office left hand side and Bründl Sports right hand side. The Hotel BARBARAHOF****S is just 200m away, on the left side.
