Good to know

All the organisational details to make your arrival and departure, as well as check-in and check-out, as easy as possible, including all the formalities with regard to payment and cancellation can be found here. If you have any questions just get in touch at any time!

     IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS:

• On the day you are due to arrive, rooms are available from 3.00 p.m. in the 4 Star Superior Hotel Barbarahof Kaprun.
• If you will be arriving after 6.00 p.m. (late check-in) please send us a quick message so we can keep your room for you!
• On the day you are due to depart, please vacate your room by 11.00 a.m.
• Our prices are per person and day, including superior buffet breakfast, free use of the Vital SPA (600 m²) and include all taxes; excluding local taxes of   € 2,00 plus Tf € 0,05 – this will be added on per day /per person aged 15 and over.
  Dinner in winter can be booked for a surcharge from EUR 49,00. Between December 24th till January 6th the surchage for Dinner per per/day EUR 59,00.
  Exception: for the New Year´s Eve Gala-dinner and programm we charge EUR 129,00 per person.
• In the event of late arrival or early departure, the day rate will be charged.
• We accept EURO, debit, Maestro, MasterCard and VISA as payment for your hotel bill. You may also pay the full amount of your accommodation costs in advance  by bank transfer.
• Please note that pets are not permitted in the Barbarahof, out of respect for our guests who are allergy sufferers.
• In the event of cancellation, Austrian hotel regulations apply, as stipulated.
• A deposit is required to make your reservation binding; we are happy to accept payment via bank transfer, or via credit card (MasterCard or VISA).

• Please, note that also in case of a now-show, a 100% cancellation fee  of the total price  will be charged.

• Cancellations are only valid in writing. 

• In order to guarantee your booking, we ask you to transfer a deposit in the amount of 50% of the total cost of your stay.
  NOT during the periodes of Christmas time and New Years time 

• Further, in the event of cancellation the contractual provisions of the AGB´s of the Austrian Hotel Policies and regulations apply.

• If you still want to insure yourself further:  We recommend: European Travel Insurance 
  
  Good tip:
  The European Travel Insurance has currently also included cancellation and travel interruption cases in connection with Covid-19 in its scope of insurance.
  We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance together with your holiday booking.

• Note: The cancellation policy replaces the right of withdrawal according to the consumer rigths directive of the European Union.
  
  Valid for DIRECT-bookings from now:

  ⇒ Should one of the following reasons arise for the period of your planned stay, which was made DIRECTLY via our hotel-website or with us in writing (does not apply for bookings via platforms), we will of course cancel your booking free of charge:

• Official Lockdown in the State of Salzburg (officially ordered closure of the hotel)
• Closure of the Border to Austria and your country of origin
• Officially ordered quarantine (compulsory submission of the public authority)

It is possible to get to the 4 Star Hotel Barbarahof Kaprun WITHOUT a motorway vignette, coming from the north via Kiefersfelden- Kufstein - St.Johann in Tirol - Kitzbühel - Pass Thurn - Mittersill or via Piding - Bad Reichenhall - Unken - Lofer – Saalfelden, as well as from the south via Udine - Tolmezzo – Plöcken Pass - Kötschach-Mauthen - Oberdrauburg - Lienz - Felbertauern – Mittersill and via Toblach - Sillian - Lienz - Felbertauern - Mittersill.
