The MK Maiskogel valley station with the connection up to the Kitzsteinhorn is a nine minute walk away. The ski bus stops directly outside and reaches the Schmittenhöhe valley station in about ten minutes. The Lechnerberg with two lifts borders the hotel directly.

The house is an adults hotel with the addition soft. Guests are welcome from the age of 10; younger children cannot be accommodated.

The Wellness Vital SPA covers 600 square metres and includes an indoor pool with air jets, a sauna with colour light therapy, a rose quartz steam brine bath, a laconium, a multimedia infrared sauna, an adventure shower grotto, a wellness fountain and the Silentium relaxation room with water beds and loungers.

The wellness area is reserved for hotel guests and is included in the room rate. Bathrobes, slippers and towels are provided free of charge.

The superior buffet breakfast is served between 08:00 and 10:30 and is included in the room rate. Nespresso coffee is also part of the inclusive services.

During the winter season a multi course dinner is served between 18:30 and 20:00. The kitchen works with regional products and the restaurant has an open fireplace in winter. Service times outside the winter season are confirmed by reception.

Check-in is possible from 15:00. On the departure day rooms are released by 11:00. A short advance notice is helpful for an arrival after 18:00.

A private car park is available free of charge. In addition the house has an underground garage that can be used for a fee.

A charging station for electric cars is available for a fee, as are charging options for e-bikes. Connector type and tariff are confirmed by reception before arrival.

Wireless internet is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

The house offers double rooms, deluxe double rooms with balcony and several suites, among them the Kitzsteinhorn suite, the panorama suite, the design suite, the romantic suite and the honeymoon suite. Availability of a specific category for a given date is confirmed by the reservation team.

The Zell am See-Kaprun summer card is included during the summer season, as are the Pinzgau mobility card and the Barbarahof VIP card. The range of benefits is defined regionally and can change by season.

The periods are staggered by season: free of charge up to 21 days before arrival in autumn, up to 35 days in winter and up to 49 days around Christmas and the turn of the year. After that graduated fees of 50, 80 and 100 percent apply. The rule covers direct bookings; platform bookings follow the conditions of the respective platform.

A deposit of at least 50 percent of the total amount is requested to secure the booking. Accepted are cash in euro, debit card, Maestro, Mastercard and VISA; the accommodation costs can also be transferred in advance.

Rates are quoted per person and day including breakfast and use of the Vital SPA. The statutory local tax of 4.00 euro plus 0.50 euro and 0.05 euro is charged separately per person and day from the age of 15.

Dogs are welcome and are registered at the time of booking. Not accepted are dangerous dogs, dogs on restricted breed lists and so called fighting dogs, as well as dogs with known aggressive behaviour or a history of biting incidents; this applies regardless of size and weight. Dogs are not permitted in the spa, the restaurant and the buffet area, and a lead is required outside the room. Weight limit and fee are confirmed by the reservation team.

The railway station at Zell am See is ten kilometres away, Salzburg Airport 82 kilometres, Munich Airport 215 kilometres and the airfield at Zell am See three kilometres. A shuttle service is arranged on request. The drive is also possible without a motorway vignette.

A sports car, including Porsche models, can be rented for a fee. The house also sees itself as a meeting point for Porsche clubs and sports car drivers. Availability, models and conditions are confirmed by reception.

In winter the Barbarahof VIP card includes the ski storage space at Bründl Sports, 15 percent off ski rental in the premium and superior class, five percent off purchases, one free ski waxing and one day of test skis. The card is handed over at check-in.

The rate includes the superior buffet breakfast, use of the Vital SPA with bathrobe and towels, wireless internet throughout the house, the private car park and the Barbarahof VIP card. During the summer season the regional summer card is added.

Wellness massages are offered for a fee, as is a turbo solarium. Booking before arrival is recommended because capacity is limited.

A fitness room is part of the wellness area and is available to hotel guests without an additional fee.

Dominik's Bar and Bistro serves cocktails, wines and snacks and has a sun terrace. Current opening hours per season are provided by reception.

The house keeps a wine cellar with a national and international selection, and a wine accompaniment is offered with the evening menu.

The kitchen relies on fresh regional products and serves Austrian as well as international dishes.

Special dietary requirements are taken into account after prior arrangement. A note at the time of booking helps the kitchen to prepare.

A multimedia conference room with a dedicated screen is available for a fee and is suitable for seminars and smaller events. Capacities and conditions are confirmed on request.

Two passenger lifts connect the floors of the building.

The Ski Alpin Card combines the ski areas of the region around Kitzsteinhorn, Maiskogel and Schmittenhöhe. Validity and price are set regionally and reception assists with the choice.

A discount of 15 percent applies to ski rental in the premium and superior class. One ski waxing and one day of test skis are included in addition.

A discount of five percent applies to purchases at Bründl Sports. The shop is located on the way into the village centre.

Green fee discounts of up to 30 percent apply on the golf courses of the region. Tee times are booked with the respective course and reception assists with the arrangements.

During the summer season the Pinzgau mobility card is part of the inclusive services and supports the use of regional transport.

Nearby destinations include the Kitzsteinhorn with its ICE Arena and summit restaurant, the lake at Zell am See with boat trips, the Sigmund Thun Gorge with evening illumination, the Grossglockner High Alpine Road and the Hohe Tauern National Park.

Vouchers can be ordered online. Amount and intended use are defined during the order.

A loyalty bonus exists for returning guests. The specific conditions are provided by the reservation team at the time of booking.

A best rate guarantee applies to direct bookings. In addition the cancellation periods of the house apply, which do not extend to platform bookings. A non binding enquiry is possible as well as booking through the own booking engine.

In the case of a no show without notice 100 percent of the total price is charged. The room rate is also charged for a late arrival or an early departure. Cancellations are valid in written form only.

An underground garage is available in the building for a fee. The number of spaces is limited and a reservation at the time of booking is recommended.
